The Sovereign Zero-Data Commitment
Mailcraft requests zero Shopify API permissions (scopes = ""). We do not collect, read, transmit, or store any of your store's data, product catalogs, customer records, or financial transactions.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
Unlike conventional Shopify applications that demand read and write API keys, Mailcraft is architecturally incapable of accessing:
- Your customer names, email addresses, order histories, or physical locations.
- Your product catalog, variant prices, inventory numbers, or collections.
- Your live storefront theme files, liquid layouts, or checkout scripts.
- Your financial reports, conversion metrics, or sales volume.
2. How the Technology Works
When you design notification emails inside Mailcraft, the visual styling takes place entirely within your browser. When you click “Copy Code”, our compiler translates your typographic choices into clean, valid Shopify Liquid tags.
You paste this code directly into your native Shopify Admin. At checkout, it is Shopify's own core rendering engine that populates the email with customer information and delivers the message. Mailcraft never acts as a middleman or data broker.
3. Storefront Scripts & Cookies
Mailcraft injects zero JavaScript, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies onto your public storefront. Your store speed score, SEO performance, and customer privacy remain 100% untouched.
4. Information You Voluntarily Provide
If you join our early access waitlist or contact support, we collect only the email address you explicitly submit so that we can communicate with you regarding your access or support request. We will never sell, lease, or distribute your email address to third parties.
